About us

Established in April 2003, and originally the site

of ‘Chalkins', Jewish bakery. Schmooze is a popular

venue for all age groups. We are situated 5 doors away

from the Beatles barber's shop, which is sung about

in the Beatles song ‘Penny Lane'.

We cater for everyone...drop in for a cappuccino, light

lunch, cool beer or a sociable evening sharing cicchetti

with friends. We also have a private dining room

with a set menu for those extra special occasions.

We have also attracted ‘A list' celebrities,
Angelina Jolie; being one of the

most famous we can boast about.
